LEAD GUIDE AND FOUNDER
I was born and grew up in Zimbabwe. As far back as I can remember I've always had a passion and love for the African bush. I grew up on a Cattle Ranch in North East Zimbabwe (Mashonaland), and spent countless days working with anti poaching and tracking units protecting the ranch against illegal hunters. Here, I gaining vast knowledge about conservation, anti poaching and the African bush.
I attended Falcon College in Matabeleland where I spent most of my time walking around the bush doing falconry under the very reputable Ron Hartley.
After leaving school at the age of sixteen, I started my learner professional guide's apprenticeship in the Sengwa river basin around Chizarira National Park in Zimbabwe. I was the head of an anti poaching unit and Problem Animal Control in the campfire area for four years, where I got a huge amount of big and dangerous game experience.
I then moved to Gorongosa National Park in central Mozambique, where I worked with the Gorongosa Restoration Project and was employed as a consultant to set up eco-tourism activities and train local guides for the project.
I then started freelancing as a fixer/guide for wildlife film crews and started my own company, South East Africa Safaris, focusing on custom made Safaris in Mozambique and Zimbabwe.
